March 8th Update

Attached is the summary feedback from the consultations held in October and December/January.  The outer circle represents total responses (134 & 143) and the inner circle represents responses from Heart of Kennington Residents Association postcodes (39 & 45). 

From the responses, there is clear opposition from the majority of our residents, particularly regarding the massing and height of the proposed development. When the application goes live on Lambeth's website, we will need to respond again.  Please encourage other adults in your household to take part as well. 

The developer had said they wanted to bring forward their application submission, but as of Monday this week,  Lambeth Planning confirmed, no application had been received.  They expect it soon, I will keep you updated.

'Build Better Kennington 409' is a small group of neighbours who are working to raise awareness of the proposal once it opens for comments. They will be engaging with the community and will provide a brief update at our AGM. If you would like more information or wish to support them, please let me know.
